Pierce Horvath: Music Poster

After translating the title of Une Histoire Simple to English, I found out it means A Simple Story. It changed the way I heard the song and reminded me of a documentary featuring the composer, Babik Reinhardt, son of Django Reinhardt, as well as the lead guitarist in the track, Bireli Lagrene. The documentary opens with a young boy, interacting with nature. I decided to write a 'simple story' to give the piece some meaning as well as to incorporate some meaningful typography. I plan to hand-write all the text within the piece and treat it like I treat my creative notes. Overall, I want to have the tone of simplicity and sincerity to couple the piece with the song.
