Il y avait autrefois un garçon qui jouait du violon et qui souhaitait que les chaudes nuits d'été avec la douce brise fraîche ne finissent jamais. Il regarda les étoiles et espéra de tout son cœur. Soudainement une étoile est venue à lui et lui a dit que son souhait serait accordé s'il pourrait jouer la plus belle chanson qu'il pourrait. La star a accordé son souhait et le garçon a passé tous ses jours à jouer aux étoiles pour montrer à quel point il appréciait leur cadeau. Apologizes for the late submission, I was very unhappy with the angle I was trying to work with and decided to start fresh. They'll be up soon, I've been trying to print them and hang them since Monday. Hopefully, I can do that tomorrow. Good luck to everyone and their final poster designs!
Keeley White's Music Poster Final
I'm much happier with this draft than my previous one. After hearing some critiques and having some of my own of my first poster, I made some changes. I adjusted the color scheme to fit the dramatic tone of the music. I fixed some alignment problems and adjusted some sizing to make the silhouette more elegant. I add some more curls of smoke as well.

After translating the title of Une Histoire Simple to English, I found out it means A Simple Story . It changed the way I heard the song and reminded me of a documentary featuring the composer, Babik Reinhardt, son of Django Reinhardt, as well as the lead guitarist in the track, Bireli Lagrene. The documentary opens with a young boy, interacting with nature. I decided to write a 'simple story' to give the piece some meaning as well as to incorporate some meaningful typography. I plan to hand-write all the text within the piece and treat it like I treat my creative notes. Overall, I want to have the tone of simplicity and sincerity to couple the piece with the song.
