I chose to feature some interesting use of typography on my album covers. Being a violinist, I am a huge fan of jazz and Hungarian music, as well as the designs used to market such content. I enjoy these examples because they aren't just visually pleasing, but in some respects describe the music. Gypsy music can be wild and fiery or slow and melancholy. Either way, it was a very attractive and exotic genre of music in mid-century America and the fonts used for the album covers said just that. Jazz can be very expressive but for the most part, its given an air of class and importance. Rather than something extremely flashy, the fonts are bold and solid.
